Hunting area Times and information
In other areas, a special licence referred to in subsection 3 of section 41a of the Hunting Act may be granted for capturing or killing a bear (except for cubs younger than one year and females accompanied by such cubs) between August 20 and October 31 20.8.2024 — 31.10.2024 Females with cubs and cubs younger than one year are protected
In reindeer herding area, under section 8 of the Government Decree on Derogations Laid down in the Hunting Act (452/2013) 20.8.2024 — 31.10.2024 Females with cubs and cubs younger than one year are protected
Requires a special licence granted by the Finnish Wildlife Agency, as referred to in section 41 of the Hunting Act
