European Parliament confirms the role of sustainable trophy hunting
This morning MEPs expressed support for the EU’s proposal to have international guidelines on trade and traceability in hunting trophies. At the same time they rejected a proposal to call for a ban on trophy hunting and to ban the sale of hunting trophies.

Every year some two thousand foreign hunters visit Finland. In addition to a valid hunting card, a hunter arriving in Finland will need a hunting licence and possibly a shooting test certificate and a licence to bring a firearm or dog into the country.

Implementation of the Wolf Management Plan Well Underway
Already half of the measures defined in the 2015 Wolf Management Plan have already been realized. The purpose of the Wolf Management Plan and its projects is to find functional solutions for the management of the wolf populations and to improve the coexistence between humans and wolves.
